That’s me: I’m always singing, rain or shine, audience or none. Everything & anything under the sun…

Which might be why my cat, Tallulah, always looks like she wants to claw out my eyes. Or rather, my tongue.

A natural mezzo-soprano with a comfortable 2 1/2 octave range, I’ve taken the top voice on many occasions. Power ballads are my all-time favourite.

I excel at gospel, power ballads, musical numbers & cabaret, and classics & oldies, but I also love the Top 40… mostly.

I’m humbled and grateful to have placed 3rd in my category (solo) in a nationally televised singing competition, where I performed a jazzy song I wrote.

I’ve played lead roles in well-known musicals, like Guys & Dolls (I was Sarah). I’ve sung in posh hotels in Cyprus and not-so-posh churches all over Africa, as well as the U.K. and the Middle East (where I was offered a six-month residency to sing at a well-known hotel).

I’ve fronted bands for various gigs and led Christmas shows at the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, and cabaret shows in private clubs.

The only thing I can’t do is dance. I’m an exceptionally awkward dancer. My husband calls me quirkily weird. And he loves me, apparently.
